The objective of this research work is to demonstrate the influence of the application of Solé's Reading Strategies on reading comprehension in second grade primary school students at Educational Institution 1254, Ate 2021. The methodology applied to this research is under the descriptive analysis, quantitative level with pre-experimental design, the pre and post test was applied with a single group. The sample was made up of 25 students, with whom 10 learning sessions were held in November 2021. The educational modality in which this research was developed was in the virtual modality, thus conducting distance classes in the meet application, in the context of Covid 19. The instrument used to collect information was the Pre and Post Test. The test was distributed at the three levels of reading comprehension: literal, inferential and criterion, to determine and evaluate the level of reading comprehension in students. The extracted results declared that Isabel Solé's reading strategy significantly influences the development of reading comprehension; since, after applying Solé's reading strategy in the post-test, an increase in correct responses of 8%, 36% and 56% respectively was obtained for each level of reading comprehension.
