Currently, 60% of Peruvian employees suffer from work stress due to excessive physical, mental and psychological exhaustion, for which they are more likely to develop burnout syndrome. Various studies place resilience as a protective factor for this syndrome. Due to this, the objective of this report is to analyze the relationship between resilience and burnout syndrome in the workplace. To do this, we analyzed information from 10 articles collected from scientific databases such as Ebsco, Redalyc, Scielo, Scopus, Dialnet and Proquest through the guidelines of the PRISMA guide. Regarding measurement instruments, more than half of the articles used the Maslach Burnout Inventory to direct their studies. As a result, a statistically significant confirmation was found between resilience and burnout syndrome, concluding that resilience prevents this syndrome. That is why it is suggested to create preventive programs and carry out actions to strengthen a culture based on resilience within organizations.
