Materiales visuales y su relación con los logros de aprendizaje del vocabulario en el idioma inglés en los estudiantes del cuarto grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar, Iquitos - 2014

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el uso de los“MATERIALES VISUALES Y SU RELACIÓN CON LOS LOGROS DE APRENDIZAJE DEL VOCABULARIO EN EL IDIOMA INGLES EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL CUARTO GRADO DE SECUNDARIA DE LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA SIMÓN BOLIVAR, IQUITOS-2014” La Investigación es de tipo cuantitativa y según el alcance de la investigación es de tipo correlacional porque se establecerá la influencia entre las variables: Materiales visuales y los logros de aprendizaje, es decir de qué forma la variable dependiente provoca a la variable independiente. La población del estudio estuvo conformada por 99 estudiantes del cuarto grado de educación secundaria de la IE Simón Bolívar-2014 y por ser una población pequeña también se le consideró como muestra. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el cuestionario para los estudiantes y la ficha de observación de los logros de aprendizaje del vocabulario en inglés por parte de los alumnos. El procesamiento de la información se realizó utilizando el paquete estadístico SPSS 20,0, la presentación de la información se realizó mediante cuadros y gráficos estadístico unidimensionales y bidimensionales. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos de la aplicación de la prueba estadística X2 =16.933; g.l.= 6;p =0,010 (p < 0,05) se puede aseverar que existe relación entre las variables y se acepta la hipótesis planteada en el presente estudio. Con el 95% de confianza, los materiales visuales se relacionan positivamente con los logros de aprendizaje del vocabulario en inglés en vista que los estudiantes del cuarto grado de educación secundaria Simón Bolívar lograron el nivel de aprendizaje previsto a partir del uso de los mismos.

This research had as a main objective to determine the use of visual materials and its relationship in with English vocabulary learning achievement among 4th grade secondary students at Simon Bolivar School. The research is quantitative type and depending on the scope of the research is correlational because the influence between variables was determined: Visual materials and learning achievements, how the dependent variable causes the independent variable. The study population consisted of 99 students from 4th grade of secondary education at IE Simon Bolivar and as it was a small population, it was also considered as a sample. The instruments used were the questionnaire for students and observation record of the achievements of English vocabulary learning by students. The information processing was done using the Statistical Package SPSS 20.0, the presentation of information was done using statistical charts and graphs dimensional and two-dimensional. According to the results of the application of the statistic test X2 = 16,933; df = 6, p = 0.010 (p < 0.05) we can assert that there is a relationship between the variables and the hypothesis in this study is accepted. With 95 % confidence, the visuals are positively related to learning of English vocabulary the in view that students in 4th grade secondary school Simón Bolívar achieved the learning expected level.
