This research had as a main objective to determine the use of visual materials and its relationship in with English vocabulary learning achievement among 4th grade secondary students at Simon Bolivar School. The research is quantitative type and depending on the scope of the research is correlational because the influence between variables was determined: Visual materials and learning achievements, how the dependent variable causes the independent variable. The study population consisted of 99 students from 4th grade of secondary education at IE Simon Bolivar and as it was a small population, it was also considered as a sample. The instruments used were the questionnaire for students and observation record of the achievements of English vocabulary learning by students. The information processing was done using the Statistical Package SPSS 20.0, the presentation of information was done using statistical charts and graphs dimensional and two-dimensional. According to the results of the application of the statistic test X2 = 16,933; df = 6, p = 0.010 (p < 0.05) we can assert that there is a relationship between the variables and the hypothesis in this study is accepted. With 95 % confidence, the visuals are positively related to learning of English vocabulary the in view that students in 4th grade secondary school Simón Bolívar achieved the learning expected level.
