The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge about micronutrients and attitudes towards their consumption in mothers of children from 6 to 36 months, Pueblo Libre, Belén 2018; We used the quantitative method, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and transversal design; the population consisted of 780 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months and the sample by 161. The instruments were: a questionnaire to identify knowledge about micronutrients and the Likert-type scale to measure attitudes towards the consumption of micronutrients. The results were 77.0% (127) presented adequate knowledge and 23.0% (34) have inadequate knowledge; 63.4% (102) have favorable attitudes, and 36.6% (59) have unfavorable attitudes; when relating the variables, it was found: X2 = 51.401 gl = 1 p = 0.000 α = 0.05, showing that there is a relationship between them. Concluding that there is a statistical relationship between knowledge about micronutrients and attitudes towards the consumption of micronutrients in mothers of children under 6 to 36 months, Pueblo Libre, Belén 2018.
