The main objective of the present investigation was to carry out a study of the work which can provide a solution to those elements that affect low productivity, the application of its techniques will help to overcome delays, unproductive times, inefficient work methods, for which the The interest of the research work lies in trying to increase productivity and propose a better working method. The study will be carried out in the production plant and manual processes will be emphasized since the company works semi-automated. The methodology was used to follow the steps of the study of methods, describing the current situation and improving the activities of the process, for which instruments such as direct observation, operation diagrams, analysis and process route were used. Likewise, for the measurement of the work, each of the stages was timed and with the help of the General Electric table we found the number of observations that must be made, these observations were taken as a sample, they were valued, the supplements were added to find the standard time and thus be able to analyze the performance of the operators. With this proposal it was possible to increase the total productivity by 38.96% from 231 units/hour to 321 units/hour since it was possible to improve the work methods and with the measurement of the work we were able to obtain the data to be able to verify with a simulation using the ProModel software that the production process was reduced by 12 days 16 hours 49 minutes and 36 seconds, generating a 6.4% reduction in hours worked.
