The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the condition of the Flexible Pavement of Av. Antonio Lorena included between the Almudena square - Arco Tica Tica, it is a visual diagnosis regarding the incidence of the condition and serviceability of the pavement in the trafficability. This section is the main and only exit route of all vehicles headed to the Department of Abancay, Lima and to the main archaeological and tourist centers, due to the frequent use of the road, it is observed that the pavement is deteriorating remarkably is very notorious the different faults that are along this stretch. Therefore we evaluate this stretch of flexible pavement, to know the state in which it is found, we use two indexes, the PCI: this method performs the quantification of the deteriorations in the surface of pavements and PSI: it evaluates the Serviciability of pavements , which represents the level of service offered by the streets and roads to users who travel in vehicles. Based on the results obtained from the 5.5 km analyzed in the Plaza Almudena - Arco Ticatica section, the Pavement Condition Index shows that the pavement is within a “failing“ rating range and the Present Serviceability Index indicates that the pavement is within a “Bad“ rating range. This means that the quality of the pavement of the Plaza Almudena - Arco Ticatica section is inadequate for its transitability. For this problem found in this section there has to be a solution, the Municipality of Cusco tried to repair this damage but I do not take into account that this repair had to be in general and not only a part of the pavement, since in a short time the pavement was will lose and aggravate the current situation, in this thesis tables and tables of different authors were used to know how to proceed with a problem like this. Finally, as a contribution of the thesis, it has been recommended the construction of a new pavement, since this is not suitable for vehicular traffic.
