Incidencia de la condición y serviciabilidad del pavimento en la transitabilidad de la av. Antonio Lorena, tramo Plaza Almudena - Arco Ticatica (2017).

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como objetivo evaluar el estado del Pavimento Flexible de la Av. Antonio Lorena comprendido entre la plaza Almudena – Arco Tica Tica, es un diagnóstico visual respecto a la Incidencia de la Condición y Serviciabilidad del pavimento en la Transitabilidad. Este tramo es la principal y única ruta de salida de todos los vehículos con dirección al Departamento de Abancay, Lima y hacia los principales centros arqueológicos y turísticos, debido al uso frecuente de la vía, se observa que el pavimento se viene deteriorando notablemente es muy notorio las diferentes fallas que se encuentran a lo largo de este tramo. Por lo cual evaluamos este tramo de pavimento flexible, para conocer el estado en el que se encuentra hacemos el uso de dos índices, el PCI: este método realiza la cuantificación de los deterioros en la superficie de pavimentos y PSI: evalúa la Serviciabilidad de pavimentos, el cual representa el nivel de servicio que ofrece las calles y caminos a los usuarios que transitan en vehículos. En función a los resultados obtenidos de los 5.5 km analizados en el Tramo Plaza Almudena – Arco Ticatica, el Índice de Condición del Pavimento demuestra que el pavimento está dentro de un rango de calificación de ´´falla´´ y el Índice de Serviciabilidad Presente indica que el pavimento está dentro un rango de calificación “Pésima”. Esto significa que la calidad del pavimento del Tramo Plaza Almudena – Arco Tica Tica es inadecuado para su transitabilidad. Para este problema encontrado en este tramo tiene que haber una solución, la Municipalidad de Cusco intento reparar este daño pero no tomo en cuenta que esta reparación debía ser en forma general y no solo una parte del pavimento, ya que en corto tiempo el pavimento se perderá y agravara la situación actual, en esta tesis se usaron tablas y cuadros de diferentes autores para saber cómo proceder ante un problema como este. Finalmente, como aporte de la tesis, se ha recomendado la construcción de un nuevo pavimento, ya que este no es apto para el tránsito vehicular.

The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the condition of the Flexible Pavement of Av. Antonio Lorena included between the Almudena square - Arco Tica Tica, it is a visual diagnosis regarding the incidence of the condition and serviceability of the pavement in the trafficability. This section is the main and only exit route of all vehicles headed to the Department of Abancay, Lima and to the main archaeological and tourist centers, due to the frequent use of the road, it is observed that the pavement is deteriorating remarkably is very notorious the different faults that are along this stretch. Therefore we evaluate this stretch of flexible pavement, to know the state in which it is found, we use two indexes, the PCI: this method performs the quantification of the deteriorations in the surface of pavements and PSI: it evaluates the Serviciability of pavements , which represents the level of service offered by the streets and roads to users who travel in vehicles. Based on the results obtained from the 5.5 km analyzed in the Plaza Almudena - Arco Ticatica section, the Pavement Condition Index shows that the pavement is within a “failing“ rating range and the Present Serviceability Index indicates that the pavement is within a “Bad“ rating range. This means that the quality of the pavement of the Plaza Almudena - Arco Ticatica section is inadequate for its transitability. For this problem found in this section there has to be a solution, the Municipality of Cusco tried to repair this damage but I do not take into account that this repair had to be in general and not only a part of the pavement, since in a short time the pavement was will lose and aggravate the current situation, in this thesis tables and tables of different authors were used to know how to proceed with a problem like this. Finally, as a contribution of the thesis, it has been recommended the construction of a new pavement, since this is not suitable for vehicular traffic.
