Objective: Determine the relationship between quality of life and functional capacity in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis at hospital II of Abancay 2023-2024 Methods: This is a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, analytical study. With a total sample of 72 patients diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the II-Essalud hospital in the city of Abancay, who came for consultation and were evaluated using the internationally validated quality of life (QoL-RA) and functional capacity (HAQ) questionnaires during the period November- January 2023-2024. Results: In relation to quality of life and capacity, a Spearman's Rho value of -0.557 was obtained, with a p-value of less than 0.05. In this way, it can be stated that there is a negative and moderate relationship between the score of the QoL-RA questionnaire and the HAQ questionnaire, which means that there is a moderate and statistically significant association between the level of disability and the quality of life. Conclusions: Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis at hospital II of Abancay present a relationship between quality of life and functional capacity, since as the level of disability increases, the level of quality of life reduces and vice versa.
