Objective: The main objective of this research study was to determine the oral health knowledge in mothers with children under 4 years of age who attend the health center CHOCCO Cusco - 2017. Methodology: Being a descriptive - comparative study of field, with a design does not experiment of cross section and prospective. With a sample of 184 mothers between the ages of 16 and 39 who attended the health center, a questionnaire of 20 questions was applied in which four aspects were evaluated: knowledge about oral diseases, knowledge about oral health in relation to the general state, knowledge in preventive measures and knowledge about assistance to dental consultation, who met the selection criteria; thus employing a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. Results: They were grouped into a good, regular and bad scale where knowledge about oral health was obtained in general from mothers. The highest percentage presented regular knowledge (59.2%), followed by good knowledge with 29.9% and a lower percentage presented knowledge. bad with 10.9%. Regarding the results of knowledge about oral health and relationship with respect to age, level of education, number of children and talks received, they are significant in the results of regular to good. Conclusion: Oral health knowledge in mothers with children under 4 years of age who attend the Chocco health center, the result was regular to good
