Conocimientos sobre salud bucal en madres con niños menores de cuatro años que acuden al Centro de Salud Chocco Cusco-2017.

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este estudio de investigación fue determinar los conocimientos sobre salud bucal en madres con niños menores de 4 años que acuden al centro de salud CHOCCO Cusco - 2017. Metodología: Siendo un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo descriptivo, observacional, de corte transversal, prospectivo y comparativo de campo. Por la recolección de datos, Con una muestra de 184 madres de 16 a 39 años que acuden al centro de salud, en las cuales se determinaron los conocimientos sobre salud bucal siendo el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia y siguiendo los criterios de selección. se aplicó un cuestionario de 20 preguntas en la cual se evaluaron cuatro aspectos, conocimientos sobre enfermedades orales, conocimientos sobre salud bucal en general, conocimiento en medidas preventiva y conocimientos sobre asistencia a la consulta odontológica, Resultados: Se agruparon en una escala de bueno, regular y malo donde se obtuvo conocimiento sobre salud bucal de las madres el mayor porcentaje presentó un conocimiento regular 59.2%, seguida del conocimiento bueno con el 29.9% y un menor porcentaje presentó un conocimiento malo con el 10.9%. En cuanto a los resultados de conocimientos sobre salud bucal respecto a la edad, grado de instrucción, número de hijos y charlas recibidas están guardan una relación significativa de regular a bueno. Conclusión: Los conocimientos sobre salud bucal en madre con hijos menores de 4 años que acuden al centro de salud Chocco, el resultado fue de regular a bueno

Objective: The main objective of this research study was to determine the oral health knowledge in mothers with children under 4 years of age who attend the health center CHOCCO Cusco - 2017. Methodology: Being a descriptive - comparative study of field, with a design does not experiment of cross section and prospective. With a sample of 184 mothers between the ages of 16 and 39 who attended the health center, a questionnaire of 20 questions was applied in which four aspects were evaluated: knowledge about oral diseases, knowledge about oral health in relation to the general state, knowledge in preventive measures and knowledge about assistance to dental consultation, who met the selection criteria; thus employing a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. Results: They were grouped into a good, regular and bad scale where knowledge about oral health was obtained in general from mothers. The highest percentage presented regular knowledge (59.2%), followed by good knowledge with 29.9% and a lower percentage presented knowledge. bad with 10.9%. Regarding the results of knowledge about oral health and relationship with respect to age, level of education, number of children and talks received, they are significant in the results of regular to good.
