The purpose of the investigation was to determine the relationship between the public management and the labor performance of the administrative workers of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University of Cerro de Pasco, year 2018. It is an investigation for its purpose of basic type, because its results enrich theoretical knowledge; assumes the non-experimental design of descriptive - correlational type, because it establishes a relationship between two variables: public management and work performance. The sample consisted of 32 administrative workers. Two instruments were applied: public management questionnaire that consisted of 25 items and a work performance questionnaire that consisted of 15 items. Both have been validated through expert judgment and present an adequate level of reliability: 0.863, and 0.858 respectively. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the study variables obtaining a correlation of rxy = 0.67; In other words, a moderate positive correlation, the hypothesis test confirms it / to = 4,943 / is greater than / tc.= 1,697 /, with a significant relationship between the variables.
