The objective of this research work was to find the way in which the strategies used by teachers are related to the way of learning that students present in university education. The research had a quantitative approach, was descriptive and correlational-cross-sectional. The instruments were applied to a sample of 30 students. The hypotheses were tested using Spearman's non-parametric Rho coefficient; the general hypothesis resulted in Rho = 0.070, very weak positive correlation with sig. p>0.05, rejecting the general hypothesis. Specific hypothesis 1 reached Rho = 0.559, medium positive correlation with sig. p<0.01, assumption 2 was admitted. Regarding specific hypothesis 2, Rho = 0.531 was determined, average positive correlation with sig. p<0.01, accepting hypothesis 2. Specific hypothesis 3 achieved Rho = 0.646, considerable positive correlation with sig. p<0.01, with which value the hypothesis was accepted. As for specific hypothesis 4, it achieved Rho = 0.624, considerable positive correlation with sig. p<0.01, accepting the hypothesis.
