This research studied the problem what is the relationship between the motivation and job performance of tutors in the science area of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences 2020? The population is made up of 44 tutors of the science area of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences at the headquarters of San Miguel. Two questionnaires were administered, using a correlational design. The results according to Pearson indicate that there is significant relationship between the motivation and productivity with a r = 0,464, interpreted as a weak positive correlation between the variables, with a p = 0,000 (p <0,05), rejecting the null hypothesis.There is significant relationship between motivation and competence with a r = 0,709, interpreted as a mean positive correlation between the variables, with a p = 0,002 (p <0,05), rejecting the null hypothesis. There is significant relationship between motivation and interpersonal relationships with a r = 0,545, interpreted as a mean positive correlation between the variables, with a p = 0,000 (p <0,05), rejecting the null hypothesis. In conclusion, there is significant relationship between the motivation and job performance of tutors in the science area of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences 2020, because the data descriptive statistics show high percentages and inferential statistics, with r = 0,686, being a mean positive correlation.
