The objective of this research work was "Relationship between Concentration and Reading Speed in 4th Grade Primary School Students at the 'Almirante Miguel Grau' Educational Institution of the District of Chaclacayo UGEL 06 – La Molina", was carried out an investigation with a sample of students from the Educational Institution "Almirante Miguel Grau" in the District of Chaclacayo. The main objective of this study was to determine if there was any connection between the level of attention and reading speed in fourth grade primary school children. To evaluate the level of attention, the L.L. Perception of Differences test was used. Thurstone, adapted by M. Yela. On the other hand, the Reading Speed Test of Juan Antonio María Candón (Spain) was used to measure reading speed. After processing the information obtained from the instruments, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between reading speed and level of attention, because the correlation is moderate, rho=0.579 (p<0.003). In addition, it was determined that the students' reading speed level is adequate or regular, since 88% of them have a reading speed according to their age and level of education. Likewise, it was observed that the level of attention of the children is average or regular, with 76% of the sample.
