The objective of this research work had as a general objective to determine the effects of the Application of the Singapore methodology and its influence on problem solving mathematics in second grade students of a private institution, Bellavista, 2017. The type of research is applied, since it seeks to modify the characteristics of the problem solving variable increasing its level with the systematic treatment of another variable, Singapore method. It's design research. quasi-experimental, with a sample of 60 children; the type of instrument that was applied, is an objective test whose validity was submitted to the criteria of judges who issued their opinion; and reliability was determined by Kuder Richardson. The conclusions indicate that the Application of the Singapore methodology influences the resolution of problems mathematics in second grade students of a private institution, Bellavista, 2017. It has been shown that the application of the Singapore method causes effects on Solving mathematical problems, given that the measurement output test indicates that the second grade students of a private institution, Bellavista, 2017 members of the experimental group presented better grades than the students from the control group, observing a substantial difference according to the report of (U-Mann-Whitney: 10.000 ∗∗∗ 𝑝 = 001 < .05), so the null hypothesis was rejected, confirming that the application of the Singapore method causes significant effects on the learning of Resolution of mathematical problems.
