The objective of this research work is to establish the relationship between multiple intelligences and academic performance in the area of English in third-year high school students at the educational institution 1195 Cesar Vallejo – Chosica. The objective was to determine the correlation that exists between multiple intelligences and learning the English language. The study is cross-sectional, non-experimental and has a descriptive-correlational design. The sample was made up of 53 students in the third year of secondary education at educational institution 1195 César Vallejo. To collect the information, a validated questionnaire on different intelligences was used, as well as an evaluation record. From the data, it is shown that there is a strong link between linguistic and musical intelligence and English proficiency in particular, as well as between various intelligences and academic success in general. The results show that Spearman's Rho, the null hypothesis of no relationship between the variables was rejected (rho = 0.635). Therefore, it was found that the academic performance in English of third-year high school students was significantly correlated with their multiple intelligences.
