The objective of this research work is to establish the relationship that exists between the Singapore technique and the resolution of additive problems in third grade primary school students. The quantitative approach of a basic type of non-experimental correlational layout, having 62 students 0.33 of Primary Education, the instruments that were applied were a questionnaire to evaluate the use of the Singapore method and a multiple choice test to evaluate performance in solving additive problems. The results showed that the use of the Singapore method is at the process level since only 47% of the students use it; The majority of students (40%) perform at the process level. Concluding that there may be an extensive relationship between the use of the Singapore approach and the resolution of additive problems in 3rd grade primary school students, finding a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.889 and an importance level of less than 0.000 (p < 0.01 ).
