The development of this thesis entitled "Multiple intelligences and academic performance in the students of the educational institution of full school day" Emilio Romero Padilla Chucuito-Puno, 2016 sought to consolidate its main objective, which was: determine the relationship that it exists between the Multiple Intelligences and the Academic Performance in the students of the educational institution of full school day Emilio Romero Padilla Chucuito-Puno, 2016.Regarding the methodology used, we can describe that, because of its focus is quantitative and the type of research, it is descriptive-correlational; while the design of the research is non-experimental and cross-sectional, where: M, is the study sample; O1, is the variable of multiple intelligences; O2, is the academic performance variable and r, symbolizes the correlation between both variables; being the hypothetical-deductive method used. We worked with a population of 162 students of the educational institution and a sample of 115 students; Likewise, in relation to the techniques and instruments for gathering information, the survey and analysis were used, using for the first variable, the Scale of Minds by César Ruiz Alva and for the second, the minutes of regular evaluation of 2016. The data collected were processed with the statistical software IBM SPSS version 20, Spearman correlation tests and the Pearson correlation coefficient. As a result, according to the Spearman coefficient it was significant and equal to 0.623, then, we can affirm that the relationship between the variables exists and is direct and positive average; that is, the higher the student's multiple intelligence, the higher his / her academic performance will be. In conclusion, the Multiple Intelligences are directly and significantly related to the academic performance of the students of the Emilio Romero Padilla Chucuito-Puno full school educational institution, 2016.
