This research aimed to determine the influence of the JClic program on improving reading comprehension levels in fourth-grade primary education students at IE N° 82049 “Ramón Castilla” of Alto Trujillo during the year 2019. The study encompassed a population of 120 students, with 30 selected for the experimental group and another 30 for the control group, to whom measurement instruments were administered. Conventional statistical procedures were employed, commencing with the construction of tables and graphs, followed by the computation of statistical measures and the application of the mean comparison statistical test to examine the research hypothesis. The results indicated that 63.4% of the students in the experimental group achieved a level of reading comprehension classified as regular, while 36.6% attained a level deemed good in the post-test following the JClic program implementation. Furthermore, a statistically significant difference was identified between the averages obtained in the pre-test and post-test (p < 0.05) as a result of the intervention with the specified program. In conclusion, it was established that the implementation of the JClic educational program significantly influences the improvement of reading comprehension levels in fourth-grade primary education students at School N° 82049 “Ramón Castilla de Alto Trujillo." This finding underscores the relevance and effectiveness of the JClic program in enhancing reading comprehension skills in the mentioned educational context.
