The purpose of this research is to determine the level of addiction to videogames in students of the first semester of the Faculty of Law of the University Andean of the Cusco, of the Province of Canchis - period 2019. The study corresponds to an investigation of a descriptive type, with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The universe of the population consists of 100 students of the first semester of the Faculty of Law of the University Andean de Cusco. The sample consisted of 45 students, determined by applying the technique of simple random sampling and applying the technique of correction by finitude. The technique applied for the collection was the survey. The instrument used was the Video Game Dependency Test of Chóliz y Marco 2011 It is established as a conclusion that: 51% of students of the first semester of the Faculty of Law of the University Andean of the Cusco have no addiction to video games, it is likely that this predominant result is due to the fact that most of the sample's members they dedicate themselves to diverse activities and do not confront conflicts linked to addiction to videogames.
