The research aims to determine the relationship between motivation and labour productivity in the collaborators of the company Maestranza Diesel S. A. C., Callao, in 2018. The type of research is nonexperimental, descriptive - correlational, with a quantitative approach. The type of sampling is probabilistic; simple stratified, the sample is composed of 53 collaborators from all areas representing one hundred percent of the universe between the ages of 20 and 60, of both sexes, with different civil status and academic level. The instrument used was a questionnaire with the applied Likert scale survey technique, with the coefficient formula, the confidence level of the instrument will be measured. A total of 56 statements on business motivation dimensions are presented. It also collects and analyses the results that assessed business motivation in relation to labour productivity by measuring its indicators. From the hypothesis test (analysis through the Spearman correlation coefficient) it is concluded that business motivation is related to labor productivity, because p = 0.016 less than α = 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.
