This research has the general objective of proposing the application of the Just In Time methodology, to reduce the waste that may occur in the production processes of a textile workshop in Lima 2021. It also has two specific objectives, first of all, to assess the current situation of the productive processes and, secondly, to identify what wastes are found in the productive processes. For the explanation of this research work, the different lean manufacturing tools will be shown, within these is the Just In Time methodology and the eight wastes that a company may have. In addition, an evaluation of the current state of the different processes of the textile industry is proposed, in this way determining deficiencies in its procedures, thereby obtaining information to apply the methodology that focuses on producing only the products that the client needs, within this is the Pull and Takt Time system. The analysis will be complemented with the use of the 5S’s and the Kanban system that will allow us to obtain greater support to reduce these types of waste in the processes of the company that applies it. As conclusions, we have that when applying the JIT methodology, an increase in productivity may be evidenced, due to the reduction of waste found in the company. Likewise, the Kanban system is a support tool for the JIT methodology and it helps us to control the supply at the plant. Finally, by identifying the types of waste through the support of the 5 S’s and applying the Pull and Kanban system, it assures us that we can have greater control over them.
