Global competition drives organizations to enhance their operational processes, especially those related to the supply chain. This study focuses on a company in the food sector that supplies retail stores in Peru, which faces insufficient inventory availability in the finished goods warehouse, resulting in order fulfillment 88%. Using a methodology based on Lean Warehousing tools, the aim is to improve warehouse operations through the implementation of the following tools: Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) for optimal warehouse rearrangement kanban and 5S methodology to enhance warehouse organization and cleanliness. Additionally, it is proposed to classify inventories based on turnover using the ABC method. Consequently, the order fulfillment rate is increased to 97.9%, as measured by the fill rate indicator.
