Gynecological cancer is one of the most common neoplasms in women and an in-crease is estimated for the coming years. There are several treatments through the use of equipment, called linear accelerators, whose purpose is to administer doses in neoplastic cells avoiding irradiation in healthy organs and / or tissues. The objective of this project is to validate and implement a tolerance level for gynecological cancer between two calculation systems, within the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN). The first is the XIO planning system (TPS XIO, Version 4.80.00) and the second is the PTW DIAMOND independent calculation system (Versión 5.3); the latter is a software that has been implemented in the planning area within the INEN. The procedure consists of commissioning the DIAMOND software; then 50 patients with gynecological cancer and conventional treatment (5000 cGy in 25 fractions) were selected, with 4 direct fields. These patients were planned using the TPS XIO using the technique in conventional 3D radiotherapy (CRT-3D); later, the calculation was carried out using the DIAMOND software and; finally, the Monitoring Units (UM) were analyzed using the tektite test of student. Among the results it was obtained that: for tolerances of 5%, in the UMs between both systems, there is no statistically significant difference. In the same way, for tolerances of 4%, 3% and 2%. On the other hand, if we consider tolerance intervals, between 2% to 5% there is no significant difference, whereas, between 3% to 5% and between 4% and 5% if there is a statistically significant difference, especially in the lateral fields. Therefore, it is concluded that it should implement a tolerance of 3% in gynecological cancer.
