In the underground mining, the loading and carrying of minerals are the most incidents in the productivity and cost of production of the mine, mainly due to the large quantity and variability of resources involved. The thesis is summarized in a technical economic analysis for the optimal selection of loading and hauling equipment with which we can reduce costs in the loading and hauling process. Until 2016 UEA Heraldos Negros had high costs in the loading and hauling processes that represented 13.5% of the Cost of Mine (Cost of Production), they used a scooptram of 2.5 and d3 for loading and a dumper of 14 tons for the carry with a productivity of 19.90 ton / hr, so in this thesis is proposed as a general objective to reduce costs in the processes of loading and hauling with a 45% objective to reduce production costs and obtain greater productivity. With the equipment for loading and hauling that was held in the mining unit, different combinations were proposed, which we will call “SISTEMA“. For the cargo in the year 2016 they had 02 scooptram; 01 scooptram of 2.5 and d3 of capacity and 01 scooptram of 3.5 and d3 of capacity. At the beginning of 2017, at the request of the Operations Management, a scooptram of 4.2 yd3 of capacity owned by E.E Rivera & CIA. Arrives at the Mine. For the haulage there was 01 dumper of 14 tons and 01 dump of 25 tons of capacity with which the systems were created. System 1 consisted of 01 scooptram of 2.5 yd3 and 01 dumper of 14 ton, System 2 composed of 01 scooptram of 2.5 yd3 and 01 dump of 25 ton, System 3 composed of 01 scooptram of 3.5 yd3 and 01 dumper of 14 ton, the System 4 composed of 01 scooptram of 3.5 yd3 and 01 dump of 25 ton, System 5 composed of 01 scooptram of 4.2 yd3 and 01 dump of 25 ton. With each of the aforementioned systems, a study of the loading and haulage cycles was carried out and reinforced with the analysis of the economic indicators VAN, TIR, B / C and C / B, arriving to find the optimal system composed of the scooptram of 4.2 yd3 and 01 dump of 25 ton (System 5) that allowed us to reduce the costs of the loading and hauling processes by 51.3%, consequently the Production Cost (Mine Cost) was reduced by 7.5% and Finally, productivity was increased to 39.38 ton / hr. This project can be used in all underground mines in operation before, during and after in order to improve the loading and hauling process.
