Since decades pricing strategies within organizations have been framed up by a particular secrecy, which results unusual bearing in mind that nowadays we live in an age of globalization, and spread of good practices. Nevertheless, companies are still resilient to adopt a methodological profile and favor pragmatism when it comes to price fixing, even in consumer goods sector, where customer insights are widely known. Arca Continental Lindley Corporation, leading bottler of non-alcoholic beverage in Peru, detected this gap and need to put value capture in place systematically through a tailored management of trade Price in a way that it maximizes business profitability, without compromising the preset sales volume. Business conditions are meant to be improved financially, whose operating margin on sales was 7.6% in 2014, through a methodology for modeling the purchase behavior (demand) of retailers according to changes on trade prices of the different products of the sales portfolio. For this, tools like value mapping, competitive advantages mapping, Van Westerdorp's approach, elasticity and cannibalization were applied on a representative sample of retailers. The outcomes will be noticed by a growth in sales, in the EBITDA, as well as a shrink on the retailer margin and negligible variation of the sales volume. The current thesis work is an experimental type.
