In Peru, there is a considerable percentage of people who suffer from an occupational disease or have suffered a work accident that, although it is true in different levels of severity, all are people affected by an event or achievement of events that could have been avoided. The different causes, immediate or root, have their origin in the effective management of Occupational Health and Safety in the different companies. In the present project of improvement this problematic one will be approached focused to the plant of Enabled Fierro of the company SIDERPERÚ, having like main aim the implementation of a System of Management of the Security and Occupational Health that serves, in first instance, as the new perspective In terms of requirements is needed to achieve a safe and pleasant work environment for its employees, but also to establish and formalize the necessary guidelines to direct the improvement of productivity of the various processes of the plant. The present work has emphasized obtaining an expected positive result presenting the problem, as well as the conceptual framework needed to understand some terms related to the project, then delves into the form that the proposed solution will have, presenting the objectives, results, methodologies to use and the scope that this project will have; mainly, the technical part of the project that refers more to the solution focused on the operational controls and the structured point of view of the implementation under the OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard is shown. Finally, each of the results that have been obtained is discussed, mentioning the observations identified during the development of the implementation of this project and describing the conclusions obtained after the end of the same; as well as recommendations and future works that would complement it.
