This thesis is based on an urban architectural analysis carried out in the Porcino Park Human Settlement located in the district of Ventanilla, province of Callao, in the department of Callao, in which a deficit was found in the commercial equipment that enables the supply of perishable and non-perishable products, since the inhabitants of the sector must move to other areas, or even to other districts to access fresh products. Taking into account that in Peru this type of commercialization is carried out in 70% of markets, therefore, the design of a retail food market is proposed that allows the supply, personalized attention and socialization of the inhabitants to satisfy their needs. To carry out the design of the retail market in Parque Porcino, it begins with the study of the architectural object in order to comply with the regulatory requirements, however, the guidelines of sustainable architecture are also established, as a design variable that seeks the optimization of resources, reduction of energy consumption, reduction of waste, increase in quality of life and reduction of maintenance. Therefore, sustainable materials must be durable, recycled or recyclable, modular, local and low-maintenance, thus contemplating in the proposal sustainable alternatives that replace conventional materials such as recycled wood enclosures, reuse of metal structures, use of recycled aggregates and local stone materials, among others.
