Unintentional injury accidents are one of the causes of morbidity and mortality that do not discriminate age or sex and burns are one of the most prominent in the list and can occur in varying degrees of intensity. In Peru, the burn units of the different hospitals only provide wound healing treatments, most of the time they keep the patients in isolated units to prevent infections of the burn wounds since these are the main cause of death in burned persons; however, this generates in the patients a feeling of segregation that, added to the unbearable pain caused by the burn wounds, can prolong the patient's recovery period. It should also be considered the cases of physical dis-valence, that the patient develops, emotional problems such as anguish and depression due to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the physical marks cause social rejection, which leads to a total self-consciousness; being important to focus on psychological recovery as the physical. The following thesis to present focuses on the architectural solutions needed to improve the stay of patients through landscape designs applied in strategic areas of the project. Landscaping should be applied in the hospitalization area and in the socio-recreational spaces because in these spaces the patients will complement the psycho-social recovery process since after traumatic injuries the patient needs a multidisciplinary team for treatments, apart from the loss of skin caused by burns.
