In the research work carried out, it was proposed as the main objective to determine the productivity improvement of the corrective maintenance process of the heavy machinery construction equipment with the Cosapi SA company through the methodology of total productive maintenance, for this, it was proposed to improve the reliability and availability indicators to improve your productivity. According to the methodology used, data was collected through a document guide and then determined the reliability indicator that varied by an average of 50%, which meant that more than half of the machines were not reliable for Efficiently fulfill their work, then they proceeded to find the availability of the machines, where a 73% availability of the machines was obtained, meaning that the machines were not available at 27% to perform a specific job within the company. For the improvement proposal, the implementation of the TPM methodology was carried out, which began with the implementation of the 5s, then preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance, which genre that the company reduce its failures with a margin of one machine failure per year, which means that the availability and reliability of the machines will increase to 74% and their reliability to 100%, which will increase productivity.
