The main objective of this research work is to improve the processes in the area of wood clearance to increase productivity in the company Forestales e Industrias Daniel el Travieso E.I.R.L, through the application of industrial engineering tools such as: Time studies, Working methods, 5s Methodology, Ergonomics, Plant distribution (SLP methodology) and finally productivity indicators. Firstly, a diagnosis of the current situation of processes and productivity was made, thus identifying that the process area presented many deficiencies such as: lack of training, disorder, lack of standardization of time, among others; that directly affect productivity. After applying the aforementioned tools, the compliance level of 71% was obtained with respect to the 5s methodology, risk level 1 was obtained in ergonomics, in the SLP methodology the distance traveled after the improvement is 6 meters / und, also for the time traveled which is 0.86 min / und and the plant efficiency is 82.5%. In this way it was possible to increase productivity and have greater efficiency in processes. Finally, the financial evaluation determined that the project is feasible, thus obtaining a NPV of S / 55,624.22, an IRR of 43% and an IR of S / .2 of return.
