The present work was carried out in the warehouse area of the spare parts company Kevin Car, the main objective being to reduce operational costs through the implementation of improvement tools. First of all, the main problems within the study area were identified, such as the presence of disorderly merchandise within the warehouse, delay in searching for products, carrying out unnecessary inventories, shortages of articles with higher turnover, delay in making tickets and low percentage of service level ; out of hich a total unnecessary cost of S / 14,973.00 was obtained; amount that after our study will become a significant saving for the company, thanks to the implementation of tools such as PEPS Design, Location Coding, Kardex, MRP and Location Product. Secondly, literature research was carried out to identify in what optimal percentage (standard value) each studied problem should be presented within the area; finding that the levels were above this, for which, simulation methods were applied in relation to each identified problem, thus being able to approach the standard value and obtain better cost reduction results. Finally, a financial evaluation was made, yielding a current net value of S / 73, 648.97, an internal rate of return of 48%, a benefit / cost of S / 4.25 and an investment return period of 2.11 months.
