The general objective of this study was to identify the link between knowledge and interests about healthy eating habits and anthropometric indicators of adolescents from the I.E. 6066 Villa el Salvador, 2023. With a quantitative approach, non-experimental, transversal descriptive design and methods related to the hypothetical-deductive approach. It had a probabilistic sample by simple random sampling made up of 132 students from 4th and 5th grade of mixed secondary school. It began with the collection of data, with the nutritional evaluation record sheet and the survey which was validated through expert judgment, 98% of instrument validity and 0.773 of reliability were obtained through the Alpha test. Cronbach. The statistical analysis was carried out through the SSPS, to establish a link coefficient between the variables through the Chi-square method and Fisher's exact test. The results were obtained that the BMI/Age was 62.9% normal weight, 36.3% between overweight plus obesity and 0.8% thin; 91.7% were of normal size, 8.3% were short; the abdominal perimeter 75% with a low risk of cardiovascular diseases and 25% with a high risk. Adequate knowledge and interests in healthy eating habits are 64.4% and 35.6% are inadequate. Finally, it is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and interest in healthy eating habits with BMI/Age (p=0.001), with abdominal circumference/age (p= 0.001), but there is no relationship with height/age (p = 0.053) in the adolescents of the I.E. 6066 Villa el Salvador, 2023.
