This research work influences the 3D graphics of the game on the retention of players in a video game developed with Unreal Engine. It focuses on the fundamental role of 3D graphics on player retention in video games developed with Unreal Engine. The overall objective is to identify the direct impact of these graphics on a player's persistence in the videogame. In addition, specific objectives were set to comprehensively evaluate how these graphics affect play time, satisfaction, and video game recommendations. To achieve these objectives, pre-experimental pre- and post-test research methods were used in a single group, focused on establishing causal relationships between the variables under study. The deductive hypothesis method guides the formulation of specific hypotheses, and since the data collected do not have a normal distribution, it relies on nonparametric statistical tests. The results of this study strongly suggest that 3D graphics have a significant impact on player retention in video games developed with Unreal Engine. The null hypothesis was rejected, confirming that these graphics affect play time, satisfaction rate and recommendations. These results show that the quality of 3D graphics is a crucial component for players to retain and enjoy such video games, emphasizing its importance in the design and development of more engaging entertainment experiences.
