In the present research work, the evaluation of the mechanized cleaning and extraction stage was carried out to optimize the mining costs of a medium-sized mining company in La Libertad, 2019, this because in the company in which the data was collected, observed a series of problems in the cleaning and extraction stages of waste and mineral by tracklees equipment such as Scoop LHD 203 and Dumper TH 315, mainly determined the problems are due to the lack of maintenance of roads for the route of the equipment. An evaluation of production (t / h) and cost (USD / t) was carried out from the months of October 2019 to March 2020, for the cleaning stage with Scoop LHD 203 with production of 16.10 t/h and 9, 70 t/h as well as costs of USD 4.36/t and USD 7.23/t in the 250 m and 350 m route for waste and mineral cleaning respectively; For the extraction using Dumper TH 315 an average production of 25.90 t/h and 25.50 t/h was obtained and in costs it was USD 5.03/t and USD 5.10/t. The transport routes were fixed and maintenance was implemented in both shifts. The production (t/h) and cost (USD/t) evaluation was then carried out during the months of April to August 2020, with a production of 26.90 t/h and 11 for the cleaning stage with Scoop LHD 203 , 60 t/h as well as costs of USD 3.35/t and USD 6.01/t in the 250 m and 350 m route for waste and mineral cleaning respectively; For the extraction using Dumper TH 315, an average production of 37.20 t/h and 37.80 t/h was obtained and costs of USD 3.49/t and USD 3.44/t. Finally, it was concluded that permanently maintaining roads implies a reduction in cleaning and extraction time, therefore, unit costs decrease and productivity increases, obtaining an average monthly saving of USD 24,117.00.
