This thesis implements the lubrication management system for the reliability of the machines in lubrication subjects keeping it in basic working conditions In 2012, Mr. Guillermo Sueiro publishes La Reliabilidad is the “ability of an item to perform a required function, under conditions established during a determined period of time“. That is, we will have achieved the required Reliability when the “item“ does what we want it to do and at the moment we want it to do so. By saying “item“ we can refer to a machine, an industrial plant, a system and even a person. Reliability has a direct impact on the company's results, and must be applied not only to isolated machines or equipment, but also to the totality of the processes that constitute the value chain of the organization. The lubrication is an important part of the machines which constitutes a fundamental base for the tasks of autonomous maintenance, to obtain to have the equipment in basic conditions and to maintain the reliability an evaluation of the previous lubrication management was made finding these problems, lack of lubrication in mechanical elements, oil leakage, failure to solve anomalies, use of inadequate lubricant, delay to perform lubrication tasks, lack of lubrication tools, lack of knowledge of the importance of lubrication, lack of adequate storage of lubricants in the lines, Among the main causes of the problems of the lubrication system was the lack of lubrication management, training, tasks, decision making and information For everything found, the following was done: restructuring of the lubrication work process, implementation of the lubrication work process flow, preparation of the 90-day plan, reduction and standardization of lubricants in the plant, implementation of the lubrication map of the lines, education and training, lessons of a lubrication point, implementation of the lubrication standard, elaboration of the standard of the lubricant locker and execution of Kaizen lubrication for the reduction of times in the tasks of lubrication The cost benefit analysis of the implementation of the management was carried out to evaluate the result of the implementation The final conclusions are the reduction of lubrication faults by 95%, the increase of culture and good lubrication practices, reduction of lubrication times, standardization of plant lubricants and cost reduction.
