The purpose of this research was to measure how work satisfaction influences the performance of administrative staff of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFYM) - National University of Trujillo (UNT) 2018. The type of study used is a Quantitative approach with correlational scope and a non-experimental design, considering as a population sample the 26 workers of the FCFYM, to whom two surveys were applied, having as instruments the respective questionnaires, with 21 items to measure job satisfaction and 20 items that They will help measure work performance, each through the duly validated Likert scale. The levels of reliability of the aforementioned instruments are 0.803 and 0.721 respectively. The results were presented in statistical tables with percentage values; the study of the results allowed to determine that, in the administrative ones, the job satisfaction is regular with 84.6% and the level of work performance is good with 73.1%, that is to say, it is demonstrated that the job satisfaction, as well as its dimensions are relate significantly to job performance and their respective dimensions.
