Currently, the metalworking company; is dedicated to the production and commercialization of metal balls of 10 Kg., for packaging of propane gas for domestic use, for the different packaging companies and gas distributors such as: Vitagas, Repsol, Energygas, Llamagas, Norgas and others. Being one of its visible objectives of the company, achieving compliance with “Quality and Safety“; because the product has a close relationship with the safety of people and therefore with the quality of the product. However, in a preliminary analysis it was found that the company maintains a high percentage of finished products with porosity faults and other aspects that determined its impossibility to be brought to the market and consequently its feedback or repair that increased the cost of production, non-compliance with goals, lack of quality in the final products and unpunctuality with the delivery of the products to their customers. All this has been inferred that it is the result of the lack of quality control in the production process; a fact that does not allow each of the manufacturing steps to be carried out with quality criteria; For this reason, it is proposed to implement a system of integral control of the production and quality process that guarantees the assurance of the total quality of the final product. In the same way, it should be noted that tools such as the Ishikawa diagram have been used both for the diagnosis and for the formulation of the solutions; diagram of operations, process diagram, plant distribution diagram, in order to propose the implementation of a quality control and supervision system in each phase of the production process. The results obtained have shown us that the level of faults found a 33.3% lack of accuracy in cutting measures, 40% inaccurate perforation, 16.7% sausages with wrinkles, 50% porosity in the necks, 17% perforation by welding in handles, 33 % piercing in body armor; all this is closely linked to the lack of control of the production process, only 8.7% of the total operations. Consequently, the implementation of a control system will reduce the level of failures of manufactured balloons and improve the level of quality thereof, which will be reflected in the reduction of the losses and fundamentally of balls with perforations and leaks, achieving the total quality of the balls produced. This must also be supported by a maintenance plan, repair equipment and machinery in order to avoid damage and stoppages. It concludes with the proposed proposal that aims to obtain a sustainable reduction of balloons with defects (perforations and leaks). It is recommended to the metal-mechanic company E.I.R.L, to carry out and apply the system of integrated control of production and quality in the supervision of the processes, to reduce the defects and improve the quality. Improving the profitability of the organization.
