The main objective of the study was to determine the relationship between Job Stress and Type A Behavior Pattern in Master's Degree students at a private university in Trujillo 2023. The research was quantitative and applied, of correlational level and non-experimental - transversal design, where 24 master's degree students at a private university of Trujillo formed the sample. Instruments such as the ILO-WHO Work Stress Scale and the Eysenck and Fulker Type A Behavior Pattern Questionnaire were used for data collection. The findings indicated that the association between Job Stress and Type A Behavior Pattern in Master's students of a private institution in Trujillo is inverse, moderate (r = -0.387) and not significant (p = 0.449), according to Pearson's R coefficient. Likewise, all were inverse and not significant with respect to the relationship between the dimensions of work stress and Type A Behavior Pattern. Regarding Job Stress, 46% of the students presented “low“ levels of job stress, while 29% and 25%, “intermediate“ and “stress“ levels respectively. On the other hand, no student showed “high“ levels of job stress. Regarding the Type A Behavior Pattern, the results reported that only 25% of the students presented the referred behavior pattern. Finally, the conclusion of the study revealed that in Master's students of a private institution in Trujillo 2023, there is an inverse and non-significant relationship between Job Stress and Type A Behavior Pattern.
