The present study aims to design and propose the implementation of lean manufacturing tools that help improve productivity in the area of ironing and painting of the company Elio Automotriz Racing E.I.R.L. The research shows the processes in the area of ironing and painting, in order to increase productivity in the workers and increase the competitiveness of the company ELIO AUTOMOTRIZ RACING E.I.R.L .; it is demonstrated that through lean manufacturing tools it is possible to increase productivity through the tools of Kaizen, which seeks to promote continuous improvement throughout the work environment, in order that operators perform their work well; Kanban, which seeks to assign organized activities to each operator, so that each one of them is active; Poka Yoke, with the function of avoiding faults and preventing defects that may occur. Improvement implementations consist of eliminating the reprocessing that is generated in the areas of ironing and painting, so it was proposed to implement lean manufacturing tools to reduce waste and waste generated in the company, obtaining an improvement of 23.08%, 6% and 5% of reprocessing in the works carried out in the painting area for units such as cars, trucks and trucks respectively, presenting a medium level of damage. In addition, it was possible to increase the efficiency of the workforce by 7%, considering that there will be less fatigue in the workers, consequently increasing their work performance. The proposed improvements are a benefit for the worker and the company, constantly making decisions to generate optimal and ideal profitability for the organization and therefore increase competitiveness and the level of customer satisfaction.
