This research work sought to identify the possibility for ordinary people to make their free spaces available by renting them to other natural or legal persons close to their surroundings. We are based on collaborative economies such as Airbnb, Uber, Neighbor, Clutter, etc. that link users and discard the traditional models of the storage industry. Literature was reviewed, the benchmarking tool of the existing local offer, surveys and in-depth interviews were used, in order to understand the current industry and identify the profiles of bidders. First of all, we seek to focus on silver economy, however, it was found that these user profiles are of secondary target, since they need more support in digital things and question the security of the business model. On the other hand, profiles aged between 35 and 50 may have greater independence in digital management. The trend of smaller homes in Lima opens an opportunity for the development of this business model, since the need arises to look for additional space that they do not have in their homes. Likewise, the fact that in the last 2 years the number of Peruvians who leave the country without return has quadrupled, makes unused spaces available in houses and apartments, which can generate extra income for the owners.
