In this document, an analysis will be presented of the Peruvian company Laboratorios SMA S.A.C, founded in 1984, dedicated to professional manufacturing, which includes the manufacture of food, hygiene, cosmetics and the elaboration of plastic containers. The experience of SMA S.A.C has allowed it to position itself in the market as one of the best maquiladoras and, in turn, obtain an extensive and important client portfolio in a way that has highlighted its commitment to meeting its proposed objectives. The success of SMA SAC has meant that over the years, the company has grown more and more so that it currently has more than 700 employees. However, the latest work environment surveys have not reflected a positive result in the Operations area. This project, therefore, aims at enhancing job satisfaction in the Operations Management of Laboratorios SMA SAC. A comprehensive survey of the research background associated with job satisfaction and productivity is done, scanning the psychological, human resources, and economic approaches. In addition, conceptual frameworks used to analyze this problematic situation are identified as follows: Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory, Bandura's self-efficacy theory, and Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. Analyzing the different solutions, the implementation of a benefits package for employees was the most viable option and could be the most effective. This alternative includes implementing a benefits package for the employee, improving the emotional salary, holding integrative events, educational agreements and the implementation of medical care insurance, among other measures. The operational, administrative and financial implications of this decision are discussed, and recommendations are made for future similar problems in the organization.
