--- Objective: Describing the more frequent pathology required to fellow that nephrectomy, in Urología's service of the Hospital Dos of Mayo, Lima - Perú, 1ro of the January 1996 to the December 31 the 2004. Design : A retrospective, longitudinal, observational study Participants: They were included in the studies, patient surgery for nephrectomy: once was opened, laparoscopy and conservative, that they were obeying the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Results: Evaluated him 134 stories clinical, , including at work 79 patients's total. The renal carcinoma's prevalence became of 0.31%; Without presenting yearly variation in the study time (r=0.936), the middle ages of the patients with benign pathology and malignant tumor attended of: 43.46±14.79 and 62.70±16.95 years(r= 8.9664E-06), presented cancer possibility the 50 years elders (r= 0.0004). The reason of men and women in renal carcinoma it belonged to 2/1 and in pelvis cancer it belonged to 1/1. The incidental diagnosis renal carcinoma became of 13.33%. I do not observe Guyon's triad In the patients with malignant tumors. nephrectomy 's frequency for solid tubercle renal attended : Renal carcinoma 51.72% pelvis cancer 41.38% and benign tumor 6.9%. The predominance of the stadium in the malignant tumors attended : Renal carcinoma stadium III(40%), and pelvis cancer stadium IV (33.33%). The mortality in the service became of 12.77% Conclusion: The renal carcinoma and pelvis cancer found in the study, he is unlike the described in the literature, with the pelvis cancer's increment, specially, in the female sex. The incidental diagnosis frequency in the patients with renal carcinoma is low regarding another studies. There is no relation among the frequency of the triad of Guyon and the presentation stadium of the malignant tumor.
