When the State of National Emergency was declared in 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak, many activities in Peru were restricted. Fear of contagion led Peruvians to avoid crowded places, such as shopping centers and malls, which resulted in a 40% decrease in retail sales (Perú Retail, 2021). This situation significantly affected logistics and storage providers, who found themselves with paralyzed warehouses and the need to invest in larger spaces or liquidate their products. One of the affected companies was Comercializadora de Bienes Especificíficos S.A.C., which had specific merchandise for each retail chain, but when the orders were canceled, it was unable to sell to other establishments. Additionally, it lacked an efficient inventory control system to improve its stock turnover. In this study, an inventory rotation control model is proposed for Comercializadora de Bienes Especificíficos S.A.C. The objective is to achieve three main results: increase stock rotation, implement sales strategies to reduce merchandise stagnant for more than 365 days, and improve management and sales processes.
