In the current software development sector, there's a strong emphasis on project execution, often at the expense of adequate planning. This lack of attention to planning often leads to numerous issues later on, including the mismanagement of defining scope or use cases for each requirement. In this context, the present work seeks to optimize the requirements process using the method based on use cases. This will allow us to identify and better define the scope and requirements using use cases, seeking to generate a better flow of attention to the requirements, better monitoring and analysis for decision making. From the evaluation of the requirements created and finalized in the last months, metrics such as compliance and efficiency can be proposed, in order to identify causes that keep the requirements static without advancing over time. Poor definitions and dependency on requirements generate delays and lack of continuity in the flow. In this way, there will be a better control of the definitions and specifications of the requirements, leaving their dependency and they can be attended and deployed independently. This optimization allowed for smoother handling of requirements throughout the entire attention process, with a 27% improvement in compliance, avoiding bottlenecks in intermediate stages and reducing dependency on other requirements. With this new process design, bottlenecks or order delays could be identified more effectively, facilitating the discovery of improvements that enhance process efficiency over time.
