The following research project is based on the deficiencies of the inventory rotation that has been presented, likewise the company currently has more than 25 years in the market, dedicating itself to the import and distribution of industrial spare parts, currently inconsistencies are perceived in Regarding the stock envelope and storage costs due to a deficiency in the purchasing processes that is currently present. The objective is to be able to increase the low inventory turnover rate, improving the efficiency of the purchase process and the projection of demand. This represents a good opportunity for growth in the organizations of the sector, therefore, we propose to increase the inventory turnover rates in the company since it is currently below almost 50%, according to the article Optimizing forecasting models for inventory planning la which mentions the existence of the need to address the demand forecast more efficiently, recommends using models based on inventory decisions, this technique obtained an improvement of 62% in inventory turnover. Which is a motivation for carrying out this study using the aforementioned tool. The methodology we chose to improve inventory management has the purpose of improving the process and the activities that are being carried out in the logistics area in order to avoid overstock of merchandise, which is generating a storage cost
