This study was carried out at Somenic Sport SAC., a company specialized in the production of sneakers for men and women. The objective was to carry out an exhaustive analysis and diagnosis to improve its production processes. In recent years, considerable costs have been detected due to various production problems, which have prevented the expected annual demand from being met. Various factors have caused a decrease in productivity, causing a 7.01% reduction in annual revenue. For this reason, a continuous improvement project focused on PYME companies was designed. The project began with a background review, the theoretical framework and the current situation of the sector, identifying tools such as 5S, SLP and work standardization. Then, a detailed analysis and diagnosis of the company's initial situation was carried out. Factors contributing to low productivity and their economic impact were examined. Finally, improvements were proposed for its effective implementation, where they obtained with the 5S tool a reduction in tool search time of 19.68%, with the SLP tool a reduction in travel time by 28.87%, and in work standardization. a reduction in assembly and gluing time of 17.93% and 18.616%, respectively. Training was carried out on the new procedures, redistribution of areas according to the improvement proposal, implementation of visual supports and preparation of a manual for the assembly and gluing process.
