This study focuses on the challenges identified in the logistics management of spare parts importation in an automotive company. The need to reduce import times is evident due to significant delays that affect customer satisfaction and operational costs. The research reveals that the lack of visibility in the supply chain and the omission of strategic planning are the primary factors contributing to these delays. The implementation of forecasting methods, inventory management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is proposed to improve demand accuracy and optimize inventory. This proposal seeks to not only improve operational efficiency but also to maintain a competitive edge and increase customer satisfaction. A qualitative approach was used, involving interviews with employees, internal company data, contextual information collection, and a review of research sources. The analyzed sources demonstrate the efficacy and feasibility of the proposed solutions, as significant improvements in coordination between functional areas, cost reduction, and spare parts availability are expected. It is concluded that, given the current problems in logistics management and considering the company's short- and medium-term needs, the implementation of these methods is the best solution. The adoption of modern planning and management tools is expected not only to address current deficiencies but also to position the company to face future logistical challenges with greater resilience and efficiency.
