The document focuses on increasing the efficiency of the import and storage process of a toy company in Peru, with the aim of minimizing losses. The company, which has a presence in several Latin American countries, faces serious problems of losses in imported merchandise due to inadequate storage and inefficient inventory management. To do this, three options are presented to solve these problems: implement the 5S methodology, improve the supply chain and storage through the use of software (Power BI), and adopt advanced technology for inventory tracking and management (RFID). After a comparative analysis, the 5S methodology is chosen as the most viable and efficient solution due to its lower implementation cost and its effectiveness in reducing losses. This methodology, which is based on organization and cleanliness principles, promises to increase operational efficiency and reduce operating costs, strengthening the company's competitiveness in the toy industry market.
